Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. If an item is faulty, unsafe, materially different from its description, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied, contact us promptly. Depending on the issue and applicable law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy. We cover reasonable return costs where required by law.
30-day change-of-mind returns
You may request a voluntary change-of-mind return within 30 days after delivery. The item must be unworn, unwashed, unused, in original condition with tags attached, free from marks, odours, hair, damage or alterations, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Personalised products, gift cards, clearly marked Final Sale items and hygiene-sensitive items once opened or used are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. These exclusions do not apply where a consumer guarantee has failed.
How to request a return
- Email support@defiantonesclothing.com with your order number, item and reason.
- For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, include photographs where reasonably possible.
- Wait for written approval and return instructions before sending anything.
Do not send a return to a public contact address unless we confirm that address in writing. The correct return facility can vary.
Postage, exchanges and refunds
Customers pay tracked return postage for approved change-of-mind returns. For faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items, we arrange or reimburse reasonable return costs where required by law. For a different size or item, return the original if eligible and place a new order, subject to availability.
After a return is received and inspected, an approved refund is issued to the original payment method, generally within 10 business days. Banks may take additional time. Original delivery charges and change-of-mind return postage are not refundable unless required by law.
Cancellations
Contact us immediately to request an order change or cancellation. Some products enter production shortly after purchase, so changes cannot be guaranteed once processing begins.
